Golden State Collision was founded in 1993 with a vision of providing honest, high quality collision repairs.

This vision of superior auto body service began over 25 years ago with Golden State Collision's founder, Dave Finkelstein. Dave entered the industry as a shop helper, and through his years of hard work he developed a reputation of being a painter dedicated to high quality craftsmanship.

Throughout his years of experience in the auto body industry, Dave became convinced there had to be a better way to treat and service customers. He followed this intuition, and in 1993, the first Golden State Collision Center located on Roseville Road opened. Beginning with only 2,400 square feet, one phone line, and only one employee, Golden State Collision has evolved into one of the area's most committed repair centers.

Most recently Golden State Collision was recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as one of the top 100 fastest growing businesses. Golden State Collision has four convenient locations in the Sacramento area. The most recent addition was the Lincoln store which opened in 2004. In 2006 the original Sacramento store moved into a new 22,500 square foot state of the art facility.
